Two Methods to Choose From
Manual Application Method (Recommended for DIY at Home)
As simple as applying a phone screen protector: sand and clean the edge of the board → apply adhesive → align and press lightly for 10 seconds → let sit for 2 hours. Even with no experience, you can achieve professional results. If it’s applied crooked, you can easily adjust it while the adhesive is still wet.
Machine application (for bulk production and time-saving)
Place it in the edge banding machine for automatic completion.
Tips for edge finishing and beautification
After application, use a utility knife to scrape along the edge at a 45° angle, and the excess will easily peel off. Then, gently sand along the edge with sandpaper a few times to achieve a smooth finish with no visible seams.
Tips for long-lasting use
✅ Ensure the wood surface is completely dry and free of moisture and dust before application.
✅ Avoid direct sunlight or water exposure for 24 hours after application.
✅ For curved edges, choose edge banding of appropriate thickness for better adhesion.
